Moby’s Pet Shop — Next Chapter
I’ve always been an avid pet lover and owner — and on a journey to find the passion project (or ‘pet project’) that would feel something truly of my own, and something that would let me create, challenge, grow and grind — with a smile on my face everyday.
With that in mind, reflecting on my personal experiences from related businesses, and after doing a lot of market research I decided to found MOBY’S Petshop (MOBYSpetshop.com), an online pet store that would offer Singaporeans the smoothest mobile shopping experience coupled with ultra fast deliveries and amazing customer service.
I know it’s a terrible cliche, but the life of an entrepreneur can truly be like a crazy roller-coaster ride, with different twists and turns everyday. Everything becomes accentuated: the lowest points become really low, and the highs are far above the clouds! Many times you feel totally alone, and even trapped, but then something exciting happens out of the blue, and you’re ready to tackle the next obstacle — no matter what.
It’s been a hugely rewarding and fulfilling couple of years — filled with countless learnings, accomplishments and mistakes of course — and I wouldn’t change any of it (another cliche, I know). We’re on the path of driving a powerful change in helping people to fulfill pets’ ever-changing and growing needs. We’re more committed than ever in Making Pets’ Lives More Humane, i.e. making sure pets are always taken care of the best possible way.
Building something new and different can only take place if you’re an active member of the community and are ready for humble, open-minded and honest interactions with everyone. Therefore our team always welcomes all new ideas and thoughts on how to further improve our platform and services.
